MCRRC Results
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the MCRRC Results site and iOS app handle race result, member, photo, sign-in, and analytics information.
Last updated: May 8, 2026.
Public Race Results
Public race result pages show public race result information, such as names, places, times, age groups, hometowns, and club fields when that information appears in published result sources.
Member Data
Member features use MCRRC membership and race registration facts from RunSignup to match a signed-in member to their race history. Stored fields may include RunSignup user and registration IDs, name, gender, birth year, hashed email address, membership level, membership status and dates, registration status, bib assignment, and related race source records.
MCRRC Results uses this information to confirm member access, show member race history, calculate member progress features, and improve member result matching. It is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Member Sign-In
Member sign-in uses RunSignup to identify the member and show their confirmed MCRRC race history, passport progress, and related member results features.
The app does not create a separate MCRRC Results account in v1. It uses your existing RunSignup account for member access. MCRRC Results does not store your RunSignup password.
The app uses sign-in cookies or tokens only to keep you signed in and to connect member-only screens to your RunSignup identity.
Photos
Per-runner photo lookup is handled conservatively. Minors and runners with unknown age are excluded from runner-specific photo lookup, even when event photos may be available elsewhere.
Event and runner photo links may open or display media hosted by SmugMug or other MCRRC photo providers.
Analytics
MCRRC Results uses Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate app usage, such as page views, referrers, device or browser category, and performance signals. Analytics are used to operate and improve the results experience and are not used for advertising.
Service Providers
MCRRC Results relies on service providers to run the app: RunSignup for member sign-in and membership or registration records, Vercel for hosting and analytics, database hosting for app storage, and photo hosting providers such as SmugMug for event images. These providers process information only as needed to support the app features described in this policy.
Retention and Requests
Public race results are retained as historical MCRRC race records. Member and registration data from RunSignup is retained while it is needed to provide member result features, maintain result matching, and support club operations. Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider settings.
You can request correction, deletion, or review of information associated with you by contacting MCRRC. Some public race result records may remain available when MCRRC needs to preserve official historical results, but MCRRC will review privacy and correction requests case by case.
